Phrase provenance

Keep a review trail for every phrase you plan to use

A phrase list is more useful when it records who reviewed it, what you intend it to mean, where it fits, and what still needs checking.

Minimum record

Capture enough context for another review

  1. Write the phrase exactly as reviewed and add its intended meaning in your own words.
  2. Name the source or reviewer and record the review date.
  3. Note the regional variety, relationship, formality, and conversation context.
  4. Mark uncertain wording as pending instead of putting it into the live-call set.

Change control

Recheck edits before reuse

A spelling, word-order, tone, or context change can alter meaning. Treat an edited line as unreviewed until an appropriate person checks the new version. Keep only the minimum family context needed for the review.

Sources remain your responsibility

The planner does not verify a reviewer, language source, translation, pronunciation, cultural fit, copyright permission, or regional authority. Do not enter private family disclosures or material you are not entitled to use.
